This website is run by Double V Fix Ltd (“we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, email [email protected].
Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we receive your name, company, email address, phone number and the project details you write. We use them only to reply to you and to discuss the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Job registrations. If you register your interest in working with us, we receive your name, contact details, trade, CSCS card type, tickets and qualifications, location and anything else you tell us. We use them to contact you about suitable work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
Emails and calls. If you contact us directly, we keep the messages and details you send so we can reply and keep a record of the work.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
We use a small number of service providers, who handle data on our behalf:
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK–US data bridge.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not set cookies or build a profile of you, so no cookie consent is needed.
We keep enquiries and related correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, or longer where we have worked together and need records for contractual, tax or legal reasons. We keep job registrations for up to twelve months, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or you start working with us.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it to be transferred. To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
